2 months agoThis is our new favorite spot. The service is incredible. The food is phenomenal Highly recommend with the sweet chili and hummus in a bowl and get the fries. The fries were so good we came back the next day and got it with chicken. The menu is expanding and I cannot wait for our next trip.

2 months agoOh my goodness, what a hidden gem!!! Stumbled upon this place today and had the most incredible meal. The gentleman who helped us order was so nice and made great recommendations. We got the garlic cheese fries at his recommendation and they were truly the star of the show!! Maybe.. a very very close tie with the dessert pita - which he offered to put all 3 sauces on. Oh. My. God. Incredible. We got a chicken pita with garlic sauce and hummus and a tiny bit of the eggplant puree that I cannot remember what it's called lol The garlic cheese fries topped with a chopped beef kabob - the flavor was bar none! Incredible. The fries were so crispy and the cheese was melty and the FLAVOR from the kabob??? An order of falafel which was so crunchy and delicious - I recommend a side of garlic sauce and a side of sweet chili to dip them in! And then on a whim I ordered the dessert pita chips - fried and tossed in cinnamon sugar which he then topped w caramel, chocolate, and Nutella?? Sweet Jesus. The food fed my husband, myself, a 5 year old, a 2.5 year old, and a 10 month old. We probably spent about $50 after a can of coke and bottle of water to wash it down. Amazing. We can't wait for our next visit!!! We will definitely be back!

3 months agoPita King is a lovely local establishment offering regular, vegetarian, and halal protein options. You can spoil yourself with delicious indulgent or healthy food here. Prices are comparable to meals at other food joints around ocala, but I have to highlight the side of toasted pita bread for ONLY .75¢ before taxes, less than 90¢ after. As a certified connoisseur of bread, this pita bread isn’t a want.. But a *need*. The staff are so friendly and attentive despite mostly remaining behind the counter. The atmosphere feels fresh, bright, and welcoming. Not overstimulating or loud, but I imagine it’ll get to a point like that when more people try their food and realize how amazing it is. I’m 100% becoming a regular. Stay tuned for the owners Cafe opening soon. It’s located right beside Pita King, and will be boasting more food and beverage options than any Cafe you’ve heard of. Long live the Pita King!! Moderately easy parking. Vegetarian, halal, vegan-friendly. Wheelchair and kid-friendly.

3 months agoAbsolutely amazing tastes with plenty of options. They have a nice open dining room and the staff were extremely helpful. Definitely give the a go because they are Pawesome 🐾. 🐺🥙

3 months agoI love Mediterranean food and have tried countless places over the years, but this one truly stands out as one of the best. My go-to is the chicken shawarma. You choose your protein, and once it’s ready, you’re called up to build your bowl with whatever toppings and sauces you like. The rice and chicken shawarma were incredible, especially topped with their garlic sauce. I also added pita bread on the side, which was amazing. The owners are also very kind and helpful. Absolutely delicious, filling, and definitely a 5-star experience for me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
